Delhi University clamps down on protests, imposes one-month campus-wide ban from February 17
The University of Delhi has imposed a month-long ban on protests, rallies, and public gatherings across its campus from February 17, 2026. Issued by the Proctor’s Office, the order applies to students and staff and cites law and order concerns. Authorities say the move aims to prevent disruptions and maintain academic normalcy.
