'Positive conversation': Carney calls Donald Trump after president threatened to block Gordie Howe International Bridge opening
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney spoke with US President Donald Trump regarding the Gordie Howe International Bridge, after Trump threatened to block its opening. Carney clarified that Canada fully funded the bridge, which is jointly owned by Canada and Michigan, despite Trump's claims of insufficient U.S. content.
