Madras HC upholds Rs 1.5 crore penalty againt Thalapathy Vijay
Madras High Court has upheld a Rs 1.5 crore income tax penalty against actor Vijay, dismissing his petition. The court found no grounds for interference, endorsing the Income Tax Department's stance on undisclosed income from the film 'Puli'. Meanwhile, Vijay's film 'Jana Nayagan' faces release delays due to censor and legal issues.
