'Deep-rooted, well-planned conspiracy to defame judiciary': Supreme Court slams NCERT over corruption chapter in book
The Supreme Court sharply criticized the NCERT for a Class 8 textbook chapter on the judiciary, calling it a "deep-rooted, well-planned conspiracy" to defame the institution. The court issued a show-cause notice to NCERT officials. Following the strong remarks, the NCERT withdrew the revised textbook and began retrieving sold copies.
