Yogi Adityanath to make recital of 'Vande Mataram' mandatory in UP's educational institutions
Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath announced that reciting 'Vande Mataram' will be made mandatory in all educational institutions across the state. This move aims to instill respect for the nation and counter elements that weaken national unity. The announcement was made during an 'Ekta Yatra' and 'Vande Mataram' mass singing event.
