Stock market today: Nifty50 ends above 25,700; BSE Sensex up over 170 points
Stock market today: The BSE Sensex, comprising 30 shares, rose 173.81 points or 0.21 percent to settle at 83,450.96. During the session, the index touched an intraday high of 83,598 and a low of 82,987.43. The 50-share NSE Nifty also edged higher, gaining 42.65 points or 0.17 percent to close at 25,725.40.
