Sri Lanka's spin web and Kamindu Mendis power 20-run win over Ireland
Sri Lanka launched their T20 World Cup campaign with a 20-run victory over Ireland. Kamindu Mendis starred with an unbeaten half-century, guiding Sri Lanka to 163. Ireland faltered in their chase, with spinners Maheesh Theekshana and Wanindu Hasaranga taking three wickets each, restricting the visitors to 143 and securing a dominant win.
