Rajasthan plans year-round career guidance for students: A test case for India’s ‘too-late’ counselling culture
Rajasthan is drafting a three-year roadmap to make career guidance a continuous school process, not a one-off Class 12 event. The plan links NEP 2020 framing with hybrid modules, digital platforms, practical exposure and stronger school-level counselling. It also seeks coordination among teachers, parents and industry, aiming for employability and life-long decision-making skills for students statewide today.
