'Predator: Badlands' tops US box office with $80 million haul
Predator: Badlands roared to the top of the box office with a $40 million debut, significantly boosting the autumn movie season. Despite a challenging market, the sci-fi sequel outperformed expectations, marking a franchise high. Other new releases like Sarah's Oil and Nuremberg showed moderate success, while Die My Love and Christy struggled to attract audiences.
