Pakistan launched "Operation Ghazab lil-Haq," a retaliatory military campaign, targeting Afghan Taliban defense positions in response to alleged unprovoked cross-border firing. Senior ministers confirmed a large-scale counter-offensive, with Pakistan reporting significant Taliban casualties and destroyed infrastructure.
