CBSE Class 10 Maths Paper 2026 analysis: Students find paper difficult, competency-based questions challenging, demand re-exam
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) successfully conducted the Class 10 Mathematics board examination on February 17, 2026, across India and abroad. Initial reactions from teachers and students described the paper as moderately easy and well-balanced. While most questions were NCERT-based and straightforward, some competency-based and ‘Circles’ questions required deeper conceptual understanding. Overall, students found the paper manageable, marking a positive start to the 2026 board examinations.
